Rock melon, also known "new kids(fruit) on the block". In Malaysia rock melon was farming using Fertigation systems. Below article show the basic ways of farming rock melon

- Grow in seed trays, and plant out in 4-6 weeks. Sow seed at a depth approximately three times the diameter of the seed. Best planted at soil temperatures between 20°C and 32°C
- Space plants: 40 - 60 cm apart
- Harvest in 10-16 weeks
- Compatible with: Sweetcorn, Sunflowers
- Avoid growing with: Potatoes
- Start in small pots then transplant. Plant into a raised mound to provide good drainage and warmth. - Provide plenty of water.
- Ready to use when the fruit falls from the vine
- In the Malaysia start the seeds in a heated greenhouse with plenty of light.
- Rock melons may need hand pollination with a soft brush
